Lately I have felt like bursting into tears for no reason. I am exhausted and racked with anxiety but cannot figure out exactly why.
I hate feeling like this. It just sneaks up from nowhere. I can have been having a couple of really good days or even weeks. I start to think I’m finally get on top of things and then bam I’m knocked over by this darkness that just makes me feel useless.
For the last month, I have had the plan to start a YouTube channel where I would record my Poems and some shorter observation Just A Thought /Random Rants type posts as it’s easier to get someone to watch a short video link then read a link to a FB Note or Blog Post. I would also share the link to the video on my Social Media and Blog for the people who do read me already. So I have attempted to do my first video post multiple times and I’m always finding something wrong and deleting it rather than uploading it.
The sort of things I say to myself in my head as I am watching the videos back: You’re a retard. Fuck you look fat. You sound like an idiot. You stumbled over that word. It sounds shit. What the fuck are you doing? Why the fuck did you do that. You ruined it. God that wok eye is ugly.
Truth is most of the attempts I have deleted because the camera angle gave me a double chin or while I was talking my eye turned out and made me look disgusting.
One of my eyes turns out and I hate it. I delete so many selfies with my son, even though he looks totally cute, because my stupid ugly eye goes off on its own adventure without the rest of me. I’m left eye dominate, so my right eye wanders – but my right eye, that my brain chooses not to use has the better vision LOL good work there Brain!!!
Anyway I totally went off topic didn’t EYE 😛 Really it’s ok, I’m alive and I can see and that is the main thing!!! Nevertheless, when I am down in the dumps all the little things like that really get at me.
Anyway, I am going to attempt to get over this and move on with my plans for the channel, hopefully!
Also for the last couple of weeks, I have been trying to format my second poetry eBooks for publication. I managed to do my first one, but kept stuffing up the second. It shattered me. In the end, I gave in and paid someone to do it for me. I failed and I HATE that. I am so mad at my stupid ass self for not being able to do it. I really think this is what brought on my current funk. I have gotten the formatted files back and have uploaded them and now have two published poetry works, but failing at the formatting has made it a bitter win. I had to give up. I got so upset I almost chucked in the towel completely. I SHOULD have been able to do it.
But I feel I have dealt with the issues / problems I stated above and I still feel at unease. I still feel blue. Down. Low. Unfocused. The Harry Potter marathon and all popcorn in my cupboard hasn’t helped. Snuggles with my Son hasn’t helped. I’m just so fed up with myself.
Cold, rain and depressed laziness has stopped me from going out lately, but I’m determined to go for a walk tomorrow morning rain or not, as I need to get some happy hormones flowing or something.

My thoughts:
Oh clever, cheeky Tara Maya giving us the first part of a twelve part series for free so we fall in love with it and buy the rest (only up to book six is published at the moment).
If Faeries (Fairies) or, secret societies and dancing aren’t your thing, don’t bother with this book. But if you want to be swept up in a beautiful but brutal world of fancy, love, betrayal and magic, then head on over to Smashwords and download a copy. It’s free for goodness sake why not!!! If you don’t like it you haven’t wasted anything other than a little bit of time and you do like it you might have just found yourself a new favourite fancy world and many hours or reading pleasure with this series.
For the most part this book is set up for the series, so a lot of information is packed in. It does seem to me that this will be an epic series. I dare say the next book will be even better as I seems to have been set up to be full of danger and action.
At the end of this book Tara’s included the first chapter of the second book ‘’Taboo’’ as if we needed more incentive to go out and buy the second anyway LOL. Well I’m off to Smashwords to Purchase the next book “Taboo” and add it to my *2 read list* and see if this adventure is all it’s cracked up to be.

Time Shifters by Shanna Lauffey

My Thoughts:
My only complaint with this book was that it was too short, I wanted it to never end. I’ve just gone and Liked Shanna’s Facebook page because I want to know immediately when the second instalment is out.
I really like Shanna’s take on Time travel. I was immediately drawn into the world of the Harekaiian. The main character is a female by the name of Akalya, she felt real and warm to me, I immediately cared about her. Akalya is a Harekaiian and she possesses the ability to move through space and time. Akalya witnesses some of her own kind being kidnapped and takes it upon herself to rescue the captives.
I really enjoyed this story it was fast paced and I didn’t want to put it down. Shanna gives us mystery, suspense, characters you can feel for, plot twists and romance. Even with all the time shifting and jumping around going on Shanna’s writing is of such high quality that as a reader you don’t get lost and are able to keep up with the fast passed action.
As this is the first Novella in a Ten part series and you can tell that the dark dealings of the ‘bad guys’ are only just coming to light and things are only going to get more intense and more interesting.
I am really looking forward to see how it all concludes.

Thank you Tonya, Five Stars. The last couple of books I’ve reviewed didn’t had any love in them, this did, THANK YOU. So so so much love. This is a beautiful story about True Love and Soul Mates. This adventure through time and parallel dimensions, gives us science to make us think and an everlasting bond between a husband and wife that makes you feel good inside.
I really enjoyed this book, it was fresh and unlike everything else I’ve been reading lately. I loved how the story made me think about parallel and alternate versions of myself. I wanted Mark to shift to the next dimension, but then I didn’t because I was enjoying it, I wanted him to get home. I was so caught up and wanted to see how it would all end, but I was mourning the loss of Petal as well. I loved how even amongst the scientific research and theories that spiritualty and love was all up in there as well. I don’t want to say too much and give the story away (Go & Read it), but I loved going on this trip with Mark and Sarah it was brilliant.

I was informed by a fellow book lover that I must read it this book, that it was the best book that they had read in ages. So I’d like to say thank you @funky_miller for pushing me to do so and of course thank you @adamcroft83 aka A.M.C for writing it.
Anyway on with the review – So I went in with high expectations.
We get plenty of action, multiple worlds and races teaming up and fighting a common foe. There is big plot twist early on that I for one did not see coming, but then again maybe if I had read the synopsis first, things might have been different.
You get drawn into the character of Alex and his fight to save not only the world but the entire universe. Go Humans!!!! It is a very long story so be prepared for sleepless nights until you’ve finished – well it is an epic sci fi fantasy so you’d expect nothing less.
I can’t fault it, the story had me NEEDING to know how it ended. I’m giving it four out of five stars. It’s only losing the one star from a perfect score because of a personal preference. There was no romance in this intergalactic thriller and I like there to be a little bit in everything I read, but never the less I was still impressed. I got excited when we met the beautiful sensual killing machine Symlia. I rejoiced as I thought Alex was getting a queen, but alas it wasn’t meant to be.
Now I will say no more as I do not want to give too much away – GO and read it yourself 🙂 >>>
